Fiber optic splice closure (dome type)

 

Dome optic closure or dome fiber closure is a type of optic closure specifically designed to provide the function of protection and management for fiber optical cable and their splices, the feature of dome optic closure is a dome-shaped upper body, and a bottom base with several cable ports for multiple optical cable entry and exit.

 

Our dome optical closure model LPSC-206 is quite unique than normal design, the LPSC-206 is capable for max 288 cores of optic fiber splices and normally such closure is big body and occupy many spaces, but this LPSC-206 has a flat-shape dome body as well as bottom base, which is special designed to provide the narrow cross sectional area, this speciality effects this optic closure has similar capacity of optic fiber management but less space to take, which is suitable to be installed in narrow manhole or even handhole.

 

Inside the closure, up to 6 pcs of splice tray can be mounted on splice tray holler of optic closure and each splice tray is capable for 48 core optic fiber splice, the total optic fiber splice capacity is up to 288 cores. The standard optic fiber cable storage plate is equipped on the back of the splice tray system and provides the area to store the remaining optic cables.

 

On the bottom of base, there are 6 pcs of round port for optic cable branch or distribution and one oval port for uncut cable inlet, air valve for tightness test and GND for ground is optioned per request.
